Council accepts liquor-permit transfer for Milton’s Lounge on Euclid Avenue

Euclid City Council accepted a liquor-permit transfer application Feb. 18 for Milton’s Lounge LLC, located at 21181 Euclid Avenue. Law Director Patrick Cooney reported that the application and background check were circulated to city departments and that planning, development and police departments provided favorable feedback.
Cooney noted that the applicant, Tyrone Frazier Jr., has prior felony convictions with the most recent dating to February 2005, and that there have been no criminal matters since that time. Council members said they had reviewed the application; Councilman Tanner said he had spoken with Mr. Frazier and recommended approval.
A motion to accept the application without objection was made and passed by roll call at the Feb. 18 meeting; the law department stated it had no objection to the transfer.
The clerk recorded the roll call accepting the application; council announced the motion to accept without objection had passed during the meeting.
