The Finance and Operations Committee recorded several formal votes during its April 7 meeting.
1) Agenda addition — executive session: The committee voted to add an executive session pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-206(d) and Section 1-210(b)(10) to discuss selection of a site or lease for adult education and attorney-client privileged communications. The motion was seconded and passed with recorded "yes" votes from President Yarbrough, Miss Downer and one additional committee member.
2) Forwarding contracts and items to full board: The committee voted to send to the full board the single abstract, two agreements, one amendment, three purchase orders and two contracts discussed at the meeting (including the Highville agreement, performing-arts agreement, Allpointe amendment, related purchase orders and ABM/All American Waste items). The motion was made by Mister Wilcox and seconded; recorded votes were "yes" from President Yarbrough, Miss Downer and Mister Wilcox.
3) Adjournment: The committee moved to adjourn at the end of the meeting and the motion carried with recorded "yes" votes from Miss Downer, Doctor Yarbrough and another committee member.
