County adopts resolution urging Congress to preserve IMLS library funding

A library representative asked the board to consider a countywide resolution because proposed cuts to IMLS funding would affect local services such as public internet access, cooling stations and programs for seniors and children. "It's our designated cooling station. It's where people do job search. A lot of people don't have Internet. They come to the library," the speaker said.
