A board member who had voted against last year's evaluation plan said she did not want to approve the policy update and expressed concern about a "conflict." The presenter responded that the policy "only reflects though the changes to the plan that the board ultimately by majority approved" and that minutes could note the dissenting member's position. That board member said she could remove the item from the consent agenda later to restate her objections publicly; staff confirmed that option.
