Zoning hearing master grants continuances for two cases to May 19, 2025

Hearing Master Susan Finch granted continuances for two zoning items during the April 15, 2025 Hillsborough County Zoning Hearing Master hearing after applicants asked for more time to revise materials.
The first continuance was for Major Modification 24-1152. Attorney Joe Moretta told the hearing the applicant would submit a revised narrative the next day and asked to continue the case so staff would have time to review the revision. The hearing master granted the continuance to the Zoning Hearing Master hearing on May 19, 2025.
The second continuance came from Chris McNeil, McNeil Engineering, who requested more time to process final Planned Development variations related to buffering and screening that were being negotiated with a neighbor in the PD Rezoning 205-270 matter. The hearing master granted that continuance to the May 19, 2025 hearing as well.
Under the county process outlined at the start of the hearing, items continued tonight will remain on the docket but the land use hearing officer will not issue a recommendation until each application is heard and the record is closed. Those recommendations are then forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for final action.
