Marshall Public Schools on March 10 reported a series of facilities repairs and upgrades and said the district took part in a statewide energy and facility needs assessment that identified millions in near-term work.
Brad, a facilities staff member for Marshall Public Schools, told the school board the maintenance team repaired older HVAC equipment that failed over the winter, installed new LED lights at the Marshall High School pool, and has begun using a pellet-style chemical feeder at two school pools. "I counted that as success," Brad said of a repair that returned heat to four classrooms within nine days after fan blades and related parts failed.
