FORT THOMAS — The Fort Thomas Planning Commission on Wednesday approved a convenience plat that moves a rear parcel onto 75 Bluegrass Avenue and set a public hearing for Feb. 19 to consider a zoning change affecting a cluster of homes on Pearson Street.
The commission also took routine administrative actions: it approved Dec. 18 meeting minutes, adopted its 2025 meeting schedule and re-elected its existing slate of officers by voice vote.
The land addition at 75 Bluegrass, proposed by Stephen and Linda Herzog, transfers a rear portion of an adjacent parcel to the large lot at the end of a cul-de-sac to “secure privacy,” the applicants said. City planning staff told the commission the proposed conveyance is intended not to create a standalone lot but to add the rear portion to the larger parcel at the cul-de-sac.
