Erlanger awards low bids for multiple public‑works projects; Narrows Road bridge work advances with SD1 funding

Staff also reported the results of other bid openings: - Brightleak Boulevard and Narrows Road sidewalk, phase 1: low bidder Straight Edge Construction, $134,385 (within budget). - MacArthur Lane mill and overlay: low bidder Naira Paving, $23,154 (within budget). - Borderlands and Park Place asphalt improvements: low bidder Regular Asphalt/Blacktop, $619,000 (within budget).
Glenn said planning work has accounted for SD1 access and water needs during construction because the project will be lengthy.
