Bridge inspections and state-aid submissions
County Engineer (name not specified) told the board that routine bridge inspections had identified several structures with critical findings and that recent high floodwaters had further damaged a bridge on Highway 61 where about three feet of roadway had washed away. The engineer said the county has nearly $2.3 million in state aid across bridge and road pots and that staff will file forms to request funds for the most critical bridges.

The county engineer also discussed entrance and signage plans funded with state marketing money.
