Chris said the organization raised about $68,000 last year and uses fundraising to cover free‑meal recipients who cannot afford services. "This year, we actually have another one we just added that makes less than $500 a month. And he can't afford his Meals on Wheels, so we've put him on our free meal program," Chris said. He also reviewed the program’s annual fundraising event and noted local volunteers and commissioners participate.
