The museum reported the overall rehabilitation is part of an $18,050,000 project. Museum representatives said four attic trusses required repair; the city provided $300,000 in late December to cover immediate truss work, and other trusses still need minor repairs. “We still do not have a firm date that they’ll be finished and moved out,” the Lockwood Matthews Mansion representative said, adding that the truss work has pushed the expected reopening out “for at least 2 months, if not longer.”
