At the March 17 meeting West Linn City Council approved the meeting agenda and later adopted the consent agenda, which included the Feb. 10, 2025 meeting minutes, an amendment to the cooperative maintenance agreement with the Oregon Department of Transportation for OR 43 multimodal improvements (scope reduced to the Merrillhurst Drive intersection) and a transient lodging tax intergovernmental agreement with the State of Oregon to enable collection of the tax.
The council also approved the mayor’s appointment of Jared Dean to the Economic Development Committee after discussion recognizing multiple applicants for advisory boards and a desire to rotate community volunteers into positions. Council President and others praised outgoing and other applicants and said staff maintains a list of recent applicants for future openings.
All votes on the agenda and consent agenda were recorded as unanimous by roll call with one councilor excused from the meeting; the appointment likewise passed on unanimous roll call.
