Thompson School District board moves into executive session to develop negotiation strategy with teachers' association

The Thompson School District R-2J Board of Education voted to enter an executive session to develop the district’s strategy for negotiations with the Thompson Education Association. Board member Stu Boyd moved the motion and Alexandra Lesum seconded; the board voted in favor on a roll call.

Board members said the meeting would move into a closed executive session "pursuant to CRS" for the stated purpose of developing negotiation strategy with the teachers' association. "I move that the Board proceed into executive session pursuant to CRS 20 four-six-four thousand and 24 for the purpose of developing the strategy of the district for negotiations with the Thompson Education Association," Board member Stu Boyd said during the motion.

The board announced it would move into executive session with Dr. Sebers, Bob Ebersole and Dr. Schafer and return at 06:00 for the regular business meeting.
