The Sudbury Garden Club has begun installing a permanent commemorative garden at Heritage Park after winning a Plant America Community Project grant, co-president Juju Lampang told the Sudbury 2 50 Committee on March 26.
The garden will mark Sudbury’s role in the American Revolution as the town approaches its 250th anniversary, Lampang said. She said installation started the first day of spring and that the club expects to begin planting shrubs and perennials in May, weather permitting.
