Committee seeks clearer timelines as sustainability coordinator hire and climate projects shift

Committee members pressed for clearer ownership and timelines on a set of projects that had been overseen by the departing coordinator. "He said he was gonna begin interviewing this week, and, he's hoping to have somebody hired, soon," Rami said of the town manager's update. At the same time, committee members reported that work Danny had been managing — including a climate vulnerability risk assessment and a decision-tree product tied to project funding requirements — has not advanced and may be stalled.
Members asked for the outgoing coordinator's project list to be transcribed into a trackable spreadsheet and for staff to identify which initiatives are time sensitive so the incoming coordinator or other staff can prioritize milestones. Rami said she will search for a transition email that reportedly listed active projects and that the town manager likely has copies for the new hire.
No formal action was taken. Committee members agreed to follow up by emailing Sandra (facilities) and Andy Sheehan (town manager) to request project files and a clear project timeline for handoff.
