The Sudbury Zoning Board of Appeals renewed, for five years, a special permit to operate a home business — a Pilates studio — at 62 Peckham Road.
Seth Gold, representing his wife Noelle Gold, explained the studio has operated since the board granted approval in March 2023. Gold told the board buffer plantings and a berm were installed to address parking and privacy concerns raised by a neighboring property. He said operations are quiet, limited to daytime hours while children are at school, and that class size has been capped at four clients per hour under the original approval.
Board members asked about parking and neighborhood impacts; Gold said the typical daily use is well under the previously approved limit of 24 daily clients and that plantings were thriving. The board discussed an appropriate length of the renewed approval and decided to grant a five-year renewal under the same conditions described in the application. The motion to approve the five-year renewal passed unanimously by roll call.
