The Trust also accepted the January transactions and financial packet. The balance reported was $897,495.27; as presenters noted, there were no unusual or significant transactions for the period. A motion to approve the January transactions carried by roll call vote with the same members voting in the affirmative.
Meeting minutes were not in the packet and therefore not advanced. The Trust also discussed scheduling for upcoming forums and a joint meeting with the Housing Authority ahead of Town Meeting.
On the small‑grant item, a Trust member said of tank size and household needs: "for 3 people, the 50 gallon would probably be what most people would employ," and another member added that a 50‑gallon tank better accommodates simultaneous dishwasher or washing‑machine use. Staff said they would check for Mass Save eligibility for heating work.
The lottery contract was described as a revenue source for the Trust (lottery administration fees) and the board asked for the signed contract to be returned to staff for processing. The vote and the amounts approved are reflected in the meeting roll call.
