The Sudbury Conservation Commission on April 7 voted to issue a partial certificate of compliance for a lot at 15 Laurel Circle (DEP file 3010208), releasing that parcel from an older order of conditions associated with road construction and subdivision work dating to 1987.
Laurie (staff member) told the commission the parcel had been inspected and was in compliance with the proposed conditions; she recommended issuing a partial certificate of compliance to allow the owner to proceed with a sale. A commissioner asked whether a very old recorded order could be considered a “zombie” certificate; staff clarified that once a certificate is recorded on a deed it remains on record.
A motion to issue the partial certificate for the specific parcel carried by voice vote. Commissioners recorded affirmative votes and the partial certificate will be issued and recorded as required to release the single lot from the older order.
