The Town of Blackstone Council on Aging introduced new board member Chris Primak and approved the minutes from its previous meeting during its session on April 3.
Chair (unnamed) introduced Chris Primak, who said he is retired after 33 years at CVS and has been a member of the senior center for about two years; Primak said he has lived in Blackstone about 10 years. The chair then asked for a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting; a member moved and another seconded, and the chair called for a voice vote. The chair said, "All in favor? Aye," and the meeting recorded acceptance of the minutes.
At the end of the meeting a motion to adjourn passed on a voice vote; the chair announced the next meeting will be Thursday, May 8. The transcript does not record roll-call vote counts for the minutes or adjournment motions, but all members present indicated assent by voice.
The council also discussed upcoming administrative items including nominations in May and reorganization in June, when members will also decide future meeting dates and times.
