Resolution 2025-31 specifies a contract amount of $28,393 and authorizes expenditure from the city's general fund. The city manager's supporting materials included an email noting a $393 tariff charge and that the vendor had requested quick acceptance because of possible price increases.
Council members spoke in favor of funding the display. "Clyster does love their fireworks, so I think it's money well spent," Councilman Chris Shea said. The motion to adopt the resolution was moved by Councilwoman Terry Meek and seconded by Vice Mayor Scott Black. Roll call votes recorded "Aye" from all members and the resolution was adopted.
No additional conditions or changes to the contract were discussed on the record during the April 1 meeting.
