City schedules Jan. 27 public meeting on comprehensive land use plan; surveys remain open

City Manager Jack Prince told the council the comprehensive land use plan process will include a public meeting on Monday, Jan. 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Brookville High School Auditorium. Staff encouraged residents in the Brookville area and the local school district to attend, hear a presentation from consultants and provide feedback.
Prince said surveys remain open online and hard copies are available at city offices; staff can deliver a survey on request. He said the first public meeting will include opportunities to complete or submit surveys in person.
The council also announced related community events and outreach: an upcoming senior-friendly lunch Jan. 16 and a Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce prayer breakfast on Jan. 9. Staff asked residents to RSVP for the senior lunch by Jan. 8.
