So I deliver the mail in this area, and so I feel like I'm a part of the community." The broadcast described the 5K as low-pressure, with some participants walking at least part of the way.
Organizers also staged separate runs for children; the broadcast said both adults and children received medals at the finish line. While the race was not intended to be highly competitive, awards were presented to top finishers in several categories, the broadcast said.
