At its February meeting the Norwalk Parking Authority recorded the following formal actions:
- Acceptance of minutes from the January meeting: motion made and seconded; vote recorded as unanimous.
- Authorization to start the statutory process to lease the New Haven-bound retail space at South Norwalk Train Station to Adrian Hurtado (Tacos Please LLC) and to initiate land-use referrals and public hearings: motion carried unanimously. Staff will refer the item to the Land Use and Building Committee for a public hearing, then to planning and zoning and the Common Council.
- Authorization for staff to develop a formal conditions-assessment procedure for parking garages and to return with vendor proposals, scope, frequency, and cost estimates: motion carried unanimously. Staff cited the 2022 assessment as the last comprehensive review and plans to solicit proposals from firms including Desmond.
