Parks and Recreation Commission elects chair and vice chair for 1994–95

Members also nominated and approved Gary Eeks as vice chair for the same term; Eeks accepted and chaired the remainder of the meeting.
The nominations were moved and seconded during the election portion of the agenda after staff explained the current chair was out of town and the past vice chair’s term had ended. The election covers the commission’s officers from the date of the meeting through June 30, 1995. Following the vote, the newly elected vice chair, Gary Eeks, briefly presided over the meeting and thanked members for their confidence.
