Jen Kim, financial advisor with Piper Sandler, told trustees the district is seeking approval for a $34,000,000 bond issuance as the next draw from the Measure EE authorization; she said the district previously drew $25,000,000 and that the voter‑approved authorization totaled $98,000,000. “This next bond issuance . . . is the $34,000,000 bond package,” Kim said, adding that, based on current market conditions, “the average interest rate . . . would be under about 5%.”
