Executive committee vacancy to be filled next meeting; nominating committee to recruit new members

Staff recommended notifying the full board in advance so potential nominees have time to consider availability and responsibilities. The presenter suggested the nominating committee be used as an opportunity to involve newer members, citing Drea Stoddard (from Danby) as a possible committee member to increase engagement.
Staff also noted the nominating committee should avoid including members who could be officer candidates, to prevent conflicts in the process, and said the full board will make the final appointment following the nominating committee’s work.
