Avon council approves Pulte Homes rezoning for Whispering Pines South after weeks of public pushback

The vote followed more than an hour of public comment at the meeting, during which neighbors asked the council to preserve the property’s previous development standards and to limit density. "Please reject this proposal," said Kurt Vaper, a Timber Bend neighbor who told the council his family has lived nearby for generations. Resident Michelle Logan told the council, "Is the proposed Pulte development going to be an investment for Avon's future? In my opinion, that answer is no."
