The Metro Nashville Planning Commission on the night it considered item 11 approved a regulatory specific plan to change zoning on a 23.48-acre portion of a 360-acre parcel at 3187 Franklin Limestone Road from agricultural-residential (AR2A) toward industrial restrictive (IR) subject to a specific plan, following a staff recommendation to approve with conditions.
Staff planner Jamara presented the regulatory specific plan, telling commissioners the proposal would limit nonresidential development on the portion to about 220,000 square feet, require 30-foot landscape buffers along the northern and southern property boundaries, preserve identified stream buffers and restrict disturbance in the 100-year flood plain.
