Carrie Turner described the work: the business will specialize in vertical green walls and will store living plants in the sunroom and do woodworking and assembly in the garage. The applicants provided a square‑footage calculation to show the business will occupy roughly 24.46% of the residence (655 square feet of a 2,678‑square‑foot home), under the 25% cap for home occupations.
The board approved the request with four conditions: only one customer may be served at the residence at a time; no outdoor display of goods or equipment; no use of commercial vehicles for deliveries; and no electrical or mechanical equipment that would change the dwelling’s fire rating or cause interference. The board recorded a unanimous vote.
