A staff member identified the proposed names as "Sophia Circle, Nora Court, Audrey Lane, Libby Lane, Magdalena Lane" and said the names had been submitted to Berkeley County for review and found available. The parcel under consideration is listed in the record as TMS 235000000083.
A board member moved to approve the set of names, a second was recorded, and the commission approved the proposal by voice vote.
During discussion one panel member remarked on the gendered pattern of the names; the exchange was colloquial and did not affect the motion. The panel did not record further public comment on the item.
The names will be used for streets within the Henry Brown Townhomes final plat and Berkeley County has reviewed them for availability, the staff member said.
