Staff explained the request was to remove a piece of property from the PA 116 agreement so a family member could obtain/construct a residence on that portion; staff said they had reviewed legal and tax implications and recommended the partial termination. Commissioners asked staff to have relevant staff (Jeff and Julie) available the following week if additional questions remained.
Motion and next steps: Commissioner Getty moved and Commissioner Toonison supported recommending adoption of resolution 205-130 (partial termination of farmland development rights agreement); the motion carried by voice vote. The committee forwarded the resolution to the Board of Commissioners for final action.
