The Rock County Board approved its consent agenda by motion of Supervisor Mawhinney, seconded by Supervisor Bostwick. The consent agenda as announced on the record included items such as an application for a farmland preservation planning grant; personnel reclassifications in the clerk of courts and administrative roles; acceptance of homeland security exercise grant funds and Violence Against Women Act formula grant funds; and a resolution approving carryover of 2024 budget appropriations to 2025.
The board also approved a recognition resolution honoring Tammy Peterson, who retired on April 7 after more than 23 years in the Register of Deeds office. The resolution noted Peterson assisted in recording more than 760,000 documents and provided long-term service to land records and vital-records functions.
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn by Supervisor Bostwick, seconded by Supervisor Pennycook, and the board adjourned by voice vote.
