Carbondale Arts Commission recommends Michelle Cook as alternate and finalizes Art Walk logistics

The Carbondale Arts Commission voted to recommend Michelle Cook as an alternate member and devoted most of the meeting to finalizing logistics for the town’s upcoming Art Walk, including audio arrangements, marketing materials and the reception at Marble.

The recommendation to appoint Michelle Cook will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees for final approval. Commissioners also discussed audio needs for the Art Walk, a $500 donation to the reception from Rebecca’s Lodge, banner and poster updates to include sponsors, and a publicity plan that includes the town newsletter and local papers. Commission members said installation scheduling and artist coordination will be handled by Lori, who will circulate the installation schedule to commissioners when available.
