Architects present campus facilities assessment; traffic congestion at elementary/middle drop-off flagged for study

JEO project staff and consultants summarized an initial campus facilities assessment and outlined next steps toward prioritized capital projects.
Corey Brodersen, architect and project manager for the JEO team, told the Board the team completed interior and exterior assessments in February and March and is preparing a roughly 100-page report with narrative, photos and exhibits. "This process is really just identifying the defining goals, the visions, the priorities for the project," Brodersen said. The assessment catalogues building-by-building needs including secure entry upgrades, interior finish and ADA restroom improvements, failing exterior cladding on older wings, and aging HVAC and mechanical systems in buildings…
