Commerce committee intern says CTE centers data spreadsheet nearing completion

Graves told members that the primary challenge has been communication: different entities return data in different formats or for different years, producing a need to follow up and standardize records. She said some respondents supplied incomplete information and that she is contacting those sources again to reconcile inconsistencies.
The committee chair directed members to a linked copy of the spreadsheet under Graves’s name on the April 4 committee materials; Graves said she will continue updating that file as she receives responses. No formal action was taken; the update was presented as informational staff work to support future committee decisions about career and technical education programs.
Committee members asked only clarifying questions, and Graves characterized interactions with respondents as “slow” but generally cooperative.
