Connor's Grove Plan Commission voted to approve a certified survey map (CSM) that creates a single residential lot split for the parcel listed as 4024082 Ridge Road during its April 9 meeting at Village Hall and on Zoom.
Aaron, a village staff member, told commissioners the applicant is creating “one residential split, basically moving it from one of his properties to another within the town.” He said the parcel lies at the edge of the village's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) but within it, so the commission must approve the CSM. Aaron recommended approval with one condition: add the surveyor's name and address and label the zoning of the properties on the CSM.
A commissioner moved to approve the CSM with the staff conditions and a colleague seconded the motion. The chair called the vote and, after no further discussion, the motion carried.
The applicant was not present in the meeting; staff said he was traveling. The commission did not specify additional technical changes or a date when the finalized CSM must be returned for filing.
The commission's approval allows the property owner to record the lot split after the CSM is updated to include the required surveyor contact and zoning information. No other permits or approvals were discussed at the meeting in connection with this split.
The commission then moved on to other business, including a preliminary update to the village's floodplain zoning ordinance.
