Habitat representatives asked staff to identify available sites; staff said there are few remaining single‑family lots in the village and that projects would likely be limited in number.
Staff added Habitat’s internal goal is to target homes priced at about $200,000, while acknowledging suburban lot prices may be higher. Board members expressed general support for exploring the opportunity as a way to expand affordable homeownership; no formal agreement or funding decision was requested at the meeting.
