Groves introduces incoming human resources director at council meeting

The person who came to the podium introduced herself as Melissa Diaz, said she resides in Port Arthur, that her parents live in Groves, and described roughly 29 years of municipal service in Port Arthur including work in human resources and municipal court.
Council members welcomed the new director. The presentation was brief and ceremonial; no formal action was required.
