Flint Hills MPO schedules Junction City open house for regional EV readiness plan

The Junction City open house will be Tuesday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Dorothy Bramlidge Public Library. Danner brought postcards with dates and locations for multiple MPO open houses and asked permission to leave some on a table near the exit for attendees.
Why it matters: The regional EV readiness plan is intended to identify infrastructure, policy and funding needs for electric-vehicle charging and other related planning across member communities. The MPO’s effort will inform local discussions about EV infrastructure placement and funding needs.
What’s next: The MPO will hold the open house on April 1 and collect local input; staff and the MPO will distribute meeting materials and postcards as requested.
