She said mold remediation is underway and the landlord is working with state agencies and state funding, which has slowed the approval timetable. Funia told the board she expects the mold remediation to be finished by June and that, in the meantime, she is completing required trainings, including alcohol awareness and Responsible Alcohol Service (RAS) training.
Board members noted the maximum extension the board can grant is 90 days and indicated Funia may need to return to request additional extensions if remediation continues. No additional conditions were imposed during the vote.
