Commissioners said the parks commission has not completed the element and that the chapter may return for additional review. Several commissioners proposed language additions and policy clarifications, including considerations for EV charging stations and right-of-way parking; one commissioner suggested adding language to explicitly address EV chargers in the right-of-way and to tie historic-district considerations to code requirements.
Commissioners asked staff to circulate submitted suggestions by email and agreed to consider them at an upcoming meeting; staff indicated the chapter may come back before the commission one more time for further edits.
