The Chelsea Licensing Commission approved a change of officers, directors and LLC manager for Interstate Management Company LLC, d/b/a Townplace Suites by Marriott Chelsea, at 30 Eastern Avenue.
Stefano Enamizis, general manager at the Townplace Suites location, appeared before the commission to present the paperwork. Licensing staff reported a CORI (criminal background) check of the new officers was clear. Sergeant Chung said the hotel has had "very small call logs" and urged the licensee to ensure staff understand that when police request information the location must comply with Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) rules for licensed premises.
Commissioners reminded the hotel that video surveillance systems must be maintained and footage retained for a rolling 30 days and provided promptly on request; failure to comply has resulted in disciplinary hearings for other licensees. A motion to approve the change of officers passed by voice vote.
