Volunteer organizer appointed to run Port Richey car show and food‑truck night; committee approves coordination plan

The Port Richey Centennial Committee on voice vote authorized organizer Thomas “TJ” Lombardo to run the May 10 car show and the concurrent food‑truck night, after a presentation from Lombardo on logistics, fees and categories.

Lombardo told the committee he would provide a team to manage registration, parking and judging and proposed a $20 per‑car registration fee to cover trophies and event operations. He said his approach avoids cash prizes and instead uses trophies and printed commemorative plates tied to the centennial branding; the organizer said he would supply trophies and manage judging categories including people’s choice and best‑stock/best‑modified classes.

The committee agreed to work with the organizer on vendor placement and fees for food trucks.
