House Health Committee: referral, noncontroversial resolutions and two awareness resolutions pass

The committee reported a package of 17 noncontroversial awareness resolutions (examples read into the record included recognition of National Hospital Week, National Stuttering Awareness Week, Parkinson’s Disease Awareness, and other months and days of awareness). Those 17 resolutions were reported as agreed to and moved out of committee.
Two awareness resolutions were called for separate roll calls and passed: House Resolution 67 recognizing May 2025 as Mental Health Awareness Month, and House Resolution 151 recognizing May 2025 as Menstrual Health Awareness Month. Committee members recorded affirmative votes and the resolutions passed and were reported out of the committee.
