Molalla River School District board adopts most policies, approves consent agenda and integrated application

The Molalla River School District 35 Board of Directors on April 10 approved the consent agenda, adopted a package of policy updates in their second reading while tabling several items for further review, and approved an integrated application for teaching and learning programs.

Why it matters: The policy adoptions and the integrated application clear administrative steps that affect district operations and instructional programs for the coming school year. The board also received progress reports on facility work, a safety-focused public-address system review and an elementary tutoring pilot that showed preliminary gains.

The board opened business by approving the consent agenda, which included the March meeting minutes and the personnel report. A board member moved and another seconded the motion; the board then voted to approve the consent agenda by voice/hand raise.
