Council Rock School District staff reported to the finance committee on April 10 that the district expects to receive approximately $4,488,273 in federal funding for the current year, including roughly $856,235 in food-service reimbursements (free and reduced meals) and about $3,632,038 that funds Title I–IV and other federal programs.
Anthony Rapp told the committee that with COVID-era pandemic aid ended the district has returned to more typical federal funding patterns and that staff had not received any notice of funding cuts: “We still have not received any communication that we have lost any funding,” he said. Board members asked timing questions; staff clarified these are funding totals staff expects to receive during the 2024–25 school year and that some payments arrive throughout the year.
On scheduling, the committee discussed dates for an additional 2025–26 budget meeting and settled on May 1 as a possible meeting date (committee members discussed start times and conflicts; staff to finalize and post the date).
