Bridal moved to approve each settlement, saying the stipulations are “mutually beneficial” because they give both the commission and Terzarian “more certainty in their expectations for the subject property near-term and long-term” and reduce the risk of an adverse trial outcome. Commissioner Chaffin seconded both motions. The commission then conducted roll-call votes; both motions carried unanimously.
The motions to approve did not change the commission’s recent regulations, the mover said, and were presented as preserving the commission’s regulatory framework while resolving litigation exposure. The commission’s clerk performed roll calls for each matter; the record shows all members present voted in favor.
No public testimony or additional staff reports were entered into the record during the two settlement votes. Commissioners thanked staff for the work that led to the agreements.
