During the discussion a motion was made and seconded authorizing the chairman and county clerk to execute the contract (the motion was described by a commissioner as authorizing signature with Mr. Leavitt). Commissioners asked that county counsel review the added affidavit and certification related to lobbying (exhibit F) before final execution or that staff compare the two contract versions and return if significant differences are found.
Staff said legal review or final comparison would be done prior to or concurrent with the county entering the agreement.
