Facility and building-management staff have inspected office space and proposed converting an adjacent records room to a vault using an existing vault door, which would avoid the expense of constructing a new vault; the clerk estimated a new vault could cost more than $50,000 and said the conversion option would save ‘‘thousands of dollars.’’
