The Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners voted Feb. 4 to appoint Kimberly Anne Davidson to the Fulmore Public Library Board to fill an unexpired term ending June 30, 2026. The board had one applicant for the open seat and approved the appointment by voice vote.
The commissioners introduced the item by noting Davidson is a Sheridan native, works as a paralegal and volunteers with Rooted in Wyoming. One commissioner moved to appoint her and another seconded; the board then voted "aye" and the appointment passed.
Why this matters: The appointment fills an unexpired library board term through mid‑2026 and restores a public member to the Fulmore Public Library Board. The county noted this was the only applicant for the vacancy.
Other meeting business: During announcements the board said the courthouse will be closed Feb. 17 for Presidents' Day and recognized county human resources manager Kenny Custis for 10 years of service; a certificate and Sheridan Chamber Bucks will be distributed in his absence.
